The first Canada Investment Summit unleashes nearly $500 billion of new investment in Canada

Canada’s inaugural Investment Summit was held in Toronto on September 14–15, 2026, bringing together investors from nearly 30 countries representing more than $100 trillion in assets under management. Hosted by Prime Minister Mark Carney in partnership with CPP Investments and PSP Investments, attendees included senior government and institutional leaders, as well as global investors such as BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and Blackstone President Jon Gray.

The Summit focused on mobilizing capital into Canadian infrastructure, energy, critical minerals, technology and other strategic industries, with nearly $500 billion in new investment and financing commitments announced. Read the article here.
